A good starting point for engaging with andragogy is for you, the reader to examine your own learning as an adult.  You can do this by recalling a good and bad learning experience as we did with the vignettes in chapter 3.  Write out a short narrative description of each, then stand back and compare the two incidents.  What was different what assumptions of andragogy were present in the good experience ad absent in the bad experience?  What could have been done to turn the bad experience into a good one?
